Formerly a separate town, Alum Rock is a census-designated place and neighborhood of San Jose, California. James Lick High School, Joseph George Middle School and other schools in the Alum Rock School District serve the neighborhood.

Special ARUSD School Board Meeting at the Alum Rock Youth Center

ARNC Action Plan

1. Call, write, email to the old board to complain, and to the new board to inquire.
2. Go to Wednesday's Board Meeting and express our issues (both this and related concerns)
3. ARNC to request a review by the District Attorney's office / office of the Civil Grand Jury
4. Push for more transparency and responsible decision-making and policies.
5. Push Frank and or Patty to take accountability for this breach of trust and resign NOW.
6. Invite Frank or Patty to an ARNC meeting to explain him / herself.
7. ARNC S&E Committee to develop and submit a best practices report on open governance to the district.
8. ARNC to submit a letter formally requesting written notice of all School Board meetings.
9. Work with other Alum Rock community groups to build a task force to resolve this situation by pooling funds for an attorney, escalating to authorities, and looking at other methods of getting relief.
