Alum Rock Neighborhood

Welcome home

Hello Friends of the Alum Rock Village Farmers' Market!

The New Year usually means a new list of resolutions. Those that are
often at the top of the list are losing weight and exercising more.
Visit the farmers' market for fresh fruits and vegetables to help
you with your resolve. Fruits and vegetables are tasty, easy to
prepare, low in calories, and full of vitamins, minerals and other
nutrients your body needs to get healthy and stay healthy. Filling
up on delicious, fresh, locally-grown produce can help you stay on
the road to healthy eating.

The farmers' market has a wonderful selection of Asian vegetables
from several producers. Visit each one for something a little
different. Yia Moua Farm and Pao Ying Vang have daikon, sweet
potatoes, and squash. Thao's Family Farm has bok choy, cabbage,
greens and more!

For fresh winter citrus visit Alma Produce. Among other items, they
have big juicy pommelos which are a little sweeter than a
